Community Partners...

All phases of this project are guided and informed by our community advisory panel which is comprised of community-based organizations and provider organizations that serve young adults (with and without mental health problems). We are continuously recruiting community advisory panel members to ensure that the panel is represented by all sectors that serve young adults (e.g., education, justice, employment, public health, mental health programs and policies, etc.).

The panel will inform and guide the project to ensure real world applicability. As well, the panel will co-develop a needs assessment with the research team to identify how the project can meet the needs and goals of community partners that serve young adults. Working together, researchers, community partners and young adults will co-develop methods that will help the mental health care sector better address the needs of young adults.

Evidence-based mental health information, resources and products that are developed for young adults will be made readily available to our community partners so that they can be widely disseminated throughout Canada.

If you/your organization would like to join our community advisory panel please click here. Panel members will be able to choose how (e.g., face-to-face meetings, blogs, private chat rooms, Nings, Wikkis, teleconferences, etc.) and when they would like to be engaged with the project.
