Jack Ferrari

I am a Psychologist in private practice in London, Ontario and I am affiliated with the Departments of Psychology and of Psychiatry at the University of Western Ontario. I have expertise in short term and long term adult mental health therapies; assessment, diagnosis, and rehabilitation; hypnotherapy; program evaluation, client empowerment, and regulatory issues.

What do you like about being involved with Mobilizing Minds?

I like the opportunity to interact with informed and motivated colleagues on issues that I consider to be of importance for our field.

What do you hope to achieve with Mobilizing Minds?

I hope we can increase awareness of, and access to, mental health services, in a way that impacts on both individual lives, and on social/institutional structures. I hope we can be part of the current movement that challenges discrimination and stigma, and relegates these very important health matters to a second tier.
